RURAL SOUTH ASIAN STUDIES JOURNAL: RSASJ
Bi-Annual Peer Reviewed International Journal
Rural South Asian Studies Journal: RSASJ is an exclusive venture where we have attempted to explore historical, economic linkages and political-cultural connections in South Asian Rural Societies. The journal aims to develop critical ideas on less explored and innovative themes in rural South Asian social, cultural, art, architectural, political, and economic histories, sociological, economic, environmental and developmental issues through multidisciplinary approaches. Scholars engaged with debates in literature, social sciences and environmental and physical sciences about the regions in the Rural South Asia can submit articles on a particular theme thus, initiating a dialogue on theoretical, empirical and methodological aspects of research and documentation pertaining to the objectives of the journal. Rural South Asian Studies Journal: RSASJ also publishes reviews on significant new publications and medial initiatives on themes associated with Rural South Asian Societies. Each issue aims to promote rigorous scholarship helpful in understanding our past and present discourses and its contradictions. The journal will be bi-lingual (English and Hindi) and with Multidisciplinary approaches which begins in 2025 in the print format.
