Rural South Asia: Imaging Heritage and Progress
In the month of January, 2013 various scholars working on the themes of Rural South Asia will gather in the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad campus to discuss and augment research question on the subject and disciplines associated to rural south Asia. The gathering is initiated as an International conference on Rural South Asia: Imaging Heritage and Progress under the auspices of Department of History and Ancient Indian Culture. The conference is also an initiative through which we will be celebrating 50 years and 2012 to be the Golden Jubilee Year of the prestigious Department of History and Ancient Indian Culture, since its foundation in 1962.
