Dr. Rahul Salunkhe is a professional doctor who after, he studied his MBBS from Medical College, Dhulia and later did his M.S. in Gynecology from Bombay Medical College, Mumbai. Thereafter he served in Sewa-Rural, Jhagadia, Gujarat and there comprehensively served and studied the complexity in rural health care systems in South Asia. In 2009 Dr. Rahul started his own ‘Girna Maternity Hospital’ in the vicinity of village Mehunbare, District-Jalgaon. The maternity clinic now caters accessible and quality health services to rural women in the region. He is an active social worker and writes on quality health services for rural societies.
